When google alerts started coming to our inbox in the dozens, we tracked the source to a single course being taught by Dr. John Hadley Strange. His EDM 310 class at the University of South Alabama uses Symbaloo every semester to create their own PLE/PLN. These future educators of tomorrow are learning the skills to become connected learners. The powerful words of Dr. Strange rang true and lingered even after our discussion,
“We are a learning community and not individual learners.”
This first conversation with Dr. Strange was captured in this Skype video chat below. Some parts have been edited to conserve length. To our surprise this is his third semester using Symbaloo and we are glad to hear that he enjoys using Symbaloo so much with his students.
